Beatrice and I shot at Ho’okipa in the middle of a downpour. This was a new one for me and proved a little difficult. I shot mostly digital (these images are all digital) and two rolls of film. I use a manual focus lens and could barely see if the image was in focus through all the water on my camera. I am always very conscience to get the exposure as close to “correct” as possible in camera while shooting. This shoot however was saved with editing. The unedited images are quite dull. In the end I really like the results and it taught my straight out of camera brain a lesson in editing. Hope to do more shoots in the rain but maybe I need an assistant to hold an umbrella or something.
